March 2026 Promotion Test Information

UPDATE 2/19/26: The promotion test has been pushed back a week (to after spring break) to make it more accessible to students. The information below has been updated to reflect this. The deadline to sign-up is still the same.

Dear Parents and Students,

The next promotion test will take place Thursday, March 19th - Saturday, March 21st. There will be NO regular classes from Thursday, March 19th - Saturday, March 21st. Depending on the amount of testers that sign-up, we may reduce the testing days to just FRIDAY/SATURDAY or just SATURDAY. We will update you once sign-ups end.

Any student may sign-up for this promotion test. However, please review what students need to know in order to promote to the next rank, explained below. Grading at the test will be very strict. Additionally, there will be NO REFUNDS for this test in the event of a fail. The deadline to sign-up for this promotion test is SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 28TH.

If you are absolutely unable to test on these dates, please let us know as early as possible. Make-up tests will be provided on a case-by-case basis. Make-up tests are not guaranteed. You may have to wait until the next promotion test in the event you cannot attend this one.

HOW TO SIGN-UP TO TEST:

STEP 1: Fill out a testing invitation (available at the front office or handed out to your student)

STEP 2: Return your filled out testing invitation and pay the promotion test fee of $80.00 per student by SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 28TH. Failure to make your payment by this date may result in us not having your new belt by your testing date.

STEP 3: Check your assigned testing date and time once assignments have been finalized and posted.
