How much do classes cost?
The cost of classes depends on which program you are enrolling in. For our one-week trial, which comes with one week of unlimited classes and a uniform, the cost is $50.00 / per person. If you are enrolling in our recurring monthly program, which included one month of unlimited classes, the cost will be $150.00 / per person. We provide discount for enrolling multiple students (must be immediate family), adults, and for college students.
Included with you tuition cost is unlimited classes. This means you are not restricted to the amount of classes you can take during your one-week trial or monthly program as long as you meet the belt or age requirements set for the different classes.
How do I enroll myself or my child in classes?
To sign up for classes, visit our training center during class hours. Find out more information under the join tab.
What is the class schedule for my student?
The class schedule for all students can be found under the schedule tab. Please pay close attention to the start and end times of each class in addition to any additional requirements that may need to be met in order to attend a class. Some classes are age restricted and some require special equipment to attend. Students should arrive before the scheduled start time of the class. Students who are late by 15 minutes or more will not be permitted to join the current class. Students are not limited to the number of classes they can take per day or week as long as the student meets the class requirements shown on the schedule.
Is there an age requirement?
For visibly younger or less mature students (usually around 3-6 years old), we would first need to see how the student is able to behave in class by allowing them to spend time in a part of one of our classes at no cost to you when you visit our school. Please have your child wear athletic clothing if they will be participating in a test class. Potential students must be able to follow basic instructions and not be a distraction to the class. If the student is unable to follow directions or ends up misbehaving, they will not be accepted into our classes. We require a pre-existing basic level of discipline before accepting students into our school. Other than that, there is no age requirement. We welcome children, teens, adults, and families!
How do I keep up to date with the school’s current events?
The best way to keep up to date with announcements is to join our remind messaging class. To join, download the remind messaging app, create an account, select “join existing class” on the left sidebar, then enter our class code shown below.

What should students wear to class?
Students are required to wear their Taekwondo uniform and their respective belt. Students have the option of wearing their full-sleeve white uniform and white pants (referred to as the full uniform or dobok) OR their training short sleeve t-shirt and white pants. When wearing the full uniform, undershirts should be solid in color and be only black or white. All students must wear a Taekwondo belt according to their rank. Training t-shirts are available for purchase from the front office.
What should I bring to class?
Students should bring a water bottle to class. We recommend one water bottle per class a student will be taking.
What is the recommended amount of classes my student should attend per week?
Students should take a minimum of three classes per week for there to be improvement. To really take advantage of the flexible schedule we offer, we recommend attending five to seven times per week. Students that have a history of good class performance and always bringing a positive attitude are permitted to take multiple classes in the same day.
I have existing experience in Taekwondo from a previous school, do I have to restart from white belt?
Kukkiwon certified DAN and POOM holders will be recognized at our school and will be permitted to maintain their rank. Color belts will be tested on their knowledge of the various Poomsae among other Taekwondo skills relative to their rank, and we will set their rank accordingly. The majority of the time, students transferring from another school to ours must start fresh, as what we expect at our schools tends to be different from other schools.
How often do students test to promote to the next rank?
Qualified students are given the option of promotion testing once every three months. Participating in the promotion test does not guarantee promotion, as students must meet the evaluation criteria that is set for each promotion test.
How long does it take to reach black belt?
Assuming a student passes every quarterly promotion test, achieving first degree black belt typically takes around three years. Students that reach black belt will be officially certified through Kukkiwon, the Taekwondo Headquarters located in South Korea. Students receive an authentic certificate recognizing them as an official black belt. This certification is sometimes required to enter high level tournaments as a black belt.
On the journey to black belt, students develop exceptional interpersonal skills, confidence, discipline, focus, and self defense skills. Students also make positive and long lasting relationships with the instructors and students around them.
