2024 Tournament Season Information
Parents and Students,
The 2024 competition season is here! This post will outline important information about the tournaments that our school will be attending. It is a great year to shoot for the national championships as it will be held here in our home state of TEXAS! Tournaments are loads of fun (minus the waiting)! Also, they are a great way to show off your Taekwondo skills, see tons of other skilled martial artists, and gain valuable competition experience!
IMPORTANT NOTES:
Our school will NOT attend regional qualifiers, nationals, or finals, if there is an insufficient amount of students planning on attending.
Our school will NOT be participating in board breaking for any of these tournaments.
Parents, please consider purchasing a newly designed CTA t-shirt (more information coming soon - stay tuned on remind) to wear to tournaments to show uniformity and proudly represent our school!

Students should treat every class as preparation for competition. Also, private lessons are available at an additional cost for students who want one-on-one practice sessions with an instructor.

2024 USATKD Texas State Championships
Prerequisites: None
Qualifier For: 2024 USATKD National Championships

Events Available: Poomsae, Sparring, Demo Team, and Breaking*
*our school will NOT be participating in boardbreaking.
Sport80 Cost: ~$150.00 for entry fee and 1 event + $55.00 for membership fees = ~$205.00 per competitor
Coach Fee (Our Fee): $100.00 per competitor
Total Estimated Cost Per Competitor: $305.00
Spectator Tickets: TBD

Prerequisites: Gold or silver medal in ANY event from any state championships OR attend a USATKD regional championship (no medal required, but must perform the event they signed up for)
